BUS INTERVENTION

The Bus Intervention course is a specialized training program that teaches law enforcement, military, and security personnel how to successfully intervene in high-risk bus scenarios. This training addresses the specific issues provided by limited places, large numbers of people, and the necessity for immediate, coordinated action to neutralize
threats and assure passenger safety.


Course Objectives:

  • Participants will learn the tactical methods and procedures necessary for safe and successful involvement in bus-related situations.

  • Become proficient in room entrance and clearance tactics tailored to the limited and linear environment of a bus.

  • Improve your decision-making abilities in high-pressure circumstances, especially when hostages or large numbers of people are involved.

  • Teach advanced tactics for controlling and neutralizing dangers aboard a bus, such as armed attackers and possible explosive devices.

  • Prepare personnel for real-world events, assuring their ability to function successfully within the particular limits of bus intervention situations.
